Eusebio H. Tanco
Chairman

Mr. Eusebio H. Tanco, 70, is a Philippine businessperson who has been at the helm of 41 different companies. Mr. Tanco holds the position of Chairman for Maestro Holdings, Inc., Venture Securities Inc., Philippines First Insurance Co. Inc., Manila Bay Hosiery Mills, Inc., Mactan Electric Company, iAcademy, Delos Santos-STI College, STI West Negros University, Grow Vite Inc., STI Education Systems Holdings Inc. and Eximious Holdings Inc. He is the Chairman and President of Prime Power Holdings Corporation and Prudent Resources Inc. He is the CEO and Director of Classic Finance Inc. and the Vice Chairman and President of Asian Terminals Inc. He is also the President of Bloom with Looms Logistics Inc., Total Consolidated Asset Management Inc., International Hardwood & Veneer Co. of the Philippines, Cement Center Inc., First Optima Realty Corporation, Mar-bay Homes Inc., Amina Inc., Global Resource for Outsourced Workers Inc., Biolim Holdings and Management Corporation, Tantivy Holdings Inc. and Eujo Phils. Inc. Mr. Tanco is associated with the Philippines-Thailand Business Council and Philippines-UAE Business Council both as Chairman. He is a Board of Trustee at Philippines, Inc. and a Member of Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Mr. Tanco is a Director of Twelve (12) other companies including the Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. In the past Eusebio H. Tanco occupied the position of Chairman at Agatha Builders Corp., President and Chief Executive Officer of Optima Financing Corp., Director at Bank of Commerce (Philippines) and Chairman for JTH Davies Holdings, Inc.

The Palawan State University conferred Mr. Tanco a degree in Doctor of Humanities, honoris causa in 2007. He obtained a degree of Master of Science in Economics from London School of Economics & Political Science in 1973 and a degree of Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1970.

Edward Cheung
President

Mr. Edward Cheung is the new President and Member of the Executive Committee of Leisure & Resort World Corporation.

He started his career in the hotel and tourism industry as an Assistant Front Office Manager in 5-star hotels in Hong Kong and Macau and worked his way up to becoming the Vice President of VIP Junket Services at Solaire Resort & Casino, Manila from 2012 – 2017 where he has been responsible for the business development and service standards of all VIP Junket Operations and Services. Prior to joining Solaire Resort & Casino, he held managerial position in Casino Customer Service and International Marketing at Galaxy Macau from 2010-2012. A certified people-oriented individual, Mr. Cheung possesses superior customer service and communication skills that allows him to efficiently handle customers’ inquiry, special requests, and complaints with a high level of professionalism whether through direct interaction or correspondence.

Before joining the LRWC group, he was the Vice President of Full Degree Communications Corp., one of the finest and most trusted PR firms in the Philippines. He was in charged for supporting multiple international projects for target customers, marketing plan, business revenue, and customer relationships.

Mr. Cheung is a certificate holder from the Condrad N. Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management at the University of Houston in Texas, United States of America.

 

Atty Carol PadillaAtty. Carol Padilla
Corporate Secretary

Atty. Carol Valenzuela Padilla will serve as LRWC’s new Corporate Secretary. Previously, Atty. Padilla was the Assistant Director for Legal and Corporate Affairs of Millennium Pan-Asia Hotel and Resort Inc. Atty Padilla handled compliance with the regulatory requirements of PAGCOR, supervised managing and protecting the intellectual properties of the company such as trademark applications, copyright, patents, among others. Atty. Padilla brings a wealth of experience and skills to help LRWC achieve new heights.

Atty. Padilla attended college in Ateneo De Manila University and was a consistent dean’s lister. She finishes a degree in Bachelor of Arts, major in Psychology and later earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the Ateneo De Manila University School of Law.

Atty Kristine Margaret Delos ReyesAtty. Kristine Margaret Delos Reyes
Compliance Officer

Atty. Kristine Margaret Delos Reyes joins LRWC as the new Compliance Officer and Head of Legal Department. Atty De Los Reyes started her professional career as an Associate Lawyer from one of the biggest and most distinguished law firms in the Philippines, the Angara Abello Concepcion Regala & Cruz Law Offices (ACCRA) from 2007 to 2010.

Prior to joining LRWC, she was the Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President for Legal and Compliance of Fortunegate Holdings Philippines, Inc.; Millennium Pan-Asia Hotel and Resort Inc.; Stotsenberg Leisure Park & Hotel Corporation.  Atty. De Los Reyes performed regulatory compliance in relation to the requirements of PAGCOR and other government agencies. She also used to be the Senior Vice President for Legal and Corporate Affairs of the Human Resources and Administration of Elxcite Gaming and Entertainment, Inc. and Starcap Management, Inc. and as well as the Assistant Vice President and Director for Legal Special Projects and Contracts of Resorts World Manila.

An optimistic, tenacious and meticulous corporate lawyer, Atty. Delos Reyes’ appointment as new Compliance Officer and Head of Legal Department is intended to furnish LRWC with the expertise and experience required to ensure that we continue to meet all relevant regulatory compliance standards.

Atty. Delos Reyes was a consistent dean’s lister from the De La Salle University, Manila, graduating Bachelor of Science in Commerce major in Legal Management. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo De Manila University School of Law.

Donita Marel Q. Rivera, CPA
Treasurer

Ms. Donita Marel Q. Rivera joins LRWC as the new Board Treasurer after a two-year stint with Millennium Pan Asia Hotel and Resort Inc. as Treasurer and Group Accountant.

She began her professional career with the SGV & Co. (Ernest & Young Philippines) as an Associate Auditor which honed her audit experience from various industries. She then rose up to the senior level after showing leadership competencies leading to sustainable profitability.

Ms. Rivera graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the Ateneo De Davao University and is a Certified Public Accountant since October 2013.
